This elegant coffee table had so much potential when we acquired it, and we gave it a romantic theme. The table was sanded, primed, and the base spray- a smooth black. The top was whitewashed before applying the Re-Design decor transfers 'Youth Fountain' and 'Natural Splendor'. A translation of the 'Youth Fountain' French text reads;
'Words simply can't describe
My feelings for you,
For my feelings are so many,
But for words, they are so few
Encouragement you give me
And a connection that is true,
I'm glad while reaching out
I found someone like you.
You give your love so sweetly.
I am lost if you are away.
You have me so completely.
The whole table then was varnished three times (with sanding between each layer). The result; a fine coffee table, which we have no doubt will find the loving home it is looking for.
Elegant Coffee Table
While this piece of furniture is in perfect working order, it is an upcycled item and can exhibit flaws. This adds to the charm of the piece. When you buy upcycled furniture, you prevent it from ending up in landfill and hence reducing the carbon footprint.
